Does poor eyesight sometimes make your life difficult?

If so, we may be able to help you with advice and practical support.

We will:

  • carry out an assessment of your needs
  • advise you of the range of services available to people with sight problems.

These services include:

  • supplying specialist equipment
  • training to manage daily tasks
  • help with getting about both indoors and out
  • arranging registration (if your eye specialist determines you are eligible and you consent).

Attention: driving licence holders

In accordance with the advice shown on the driving licence, any driver with impaired vision should inform the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA), who will consider each case on an individual basis.
