Physical Disabilities and Sensory Impairment
We provide help, advice and support to residents of Haringey who are:
- between the ages of 16 and 64 and
- deaf or hard of hearing or
- blind or partially sighted or
- who have a permanent and substantial disability or long term health condition which impacts on their ability to live independently
If you need help to live independently in your own home, Haringey Council and other support organisations and groups, can help. For information on the services available, visit HAricare - the directory of adult services (external link), or see our Help at Home, and Equipment for your home pages. You might also want to see what services are currently offered at the Winkfield Resource Centre.
Assessment
An assessment will help us gather more information about your situation and the type of help and support you feel you need. Visit our assessment page to find out how we do this.
