- Blocks recycling service (for privately managed blocks)
Estates recycling service
The council is introducing new recycling facilities for all Homes for Haringey estates and supported housing blocks during the 2008/9 financial year.
This follows on from a successful trial recycling service that was introduced in 2006/7 on estates in Northumberland Park, Tottenham, Seven Sisters and Wood Green.
The new service provides 'near-entry' recycling facilities, which makes it easy for residents to recycle a wide range of materials. More information about this service can be found on the near-entry collections page.
Around 1,000 households that were part of the trial project continue to receive doorstep blue bag collections. For more information on this service please visit the blue bag collections page.

The council is continuing to introduce recycling facilities for privately managed blocks of flats during 2008 and 2009. Subject to funding, available space and approval from managing agents we will try to introduce special facilities for every block to make it even easier for residents to recycle.
If your block of flats already has these new recycling facilities then you can find out more information about how to use them on the near-entry collections page.
To find out whether your block of flats is due to have new recycling facilities installed, please email the Recycling Team at recycling@haringey.gov.uk To make it easier to provide you with information, please provide the full name and address of your block, as well as the name and contact details of the managing agent.
