Surveys

Resident Surveys and User Surveys

The council carries out two types of surveys.

  • Individual service customer satisfaction surveys that are an opportunity for users to continually feedback on their experience of the service we provide, for example Your Visit for people who have visited a park recently.
  • Borough wide surveys of residents that survey a large representative section of the residents of the borough. These are used to give council departments much wider information about the experience of residents using council services and about resident's satisfaction with the service the council is providing. These are also designed to provide information about areas for improvement and residents' priorities for council investment and spending.

The Consultation Team sometimes gets calls from residents asking about interviewers stopping them on the doorstep or on the street. If you are asked to take part in a survey please make sure you see identification. Council staff conducting surveys and research companies doing it on our behalf will always have proper identification.  If you are at all concerned about the interviewers or the questions they are asking please contact Janette Wallace Gedge, Consultation Manager at haveyoursay@haringey.gov.uk

Thank you

To all those people who take part in the surveys - thank you - the information we gather is used to improve the services the council offers and to develop new services. We undertake surveys to make sure we are getting views and ideas from a representative cross section of people throughout the borough.
