You can find every kind of music in Haringey, from classical to jazz to garage. The latest addition to London’s cultural arts scene is the Bernie Grant Arts Centre. The new purpose built multi-arts centre includes a 300 seat auditorium, 70 seat studio/rehearsal space, café/bar, multimedia workspaces and open spaces.

Haringey's most famous jazz pub, The King's Head in Crouch End Broadway (which hosts the accoustic music Kalamazoo Klub - see external links section below - every 2nd Friday of the month), is joined by other venues such as the Cafe on the Hill in Muswell Hill.

Other bars and pubs, like the World's End in Stroud Green Road, VivaViva in Hornsey, the Boogaloo in Highgate and The Salisbury Hotel in Harringay Green Lanes offer free live music, including rock, pop, Irish and world music, country and dance.

Lauderdale House - a grade II listed 16th Century building situated in the beautiful Waterlow Park - hosts a range of music events, from cabaret to jazz to classical concerts (including special family friendly events).

Haringey also provides classical music-lovers with the internationally-renowned Crouch End Festival Chorus and the Haringey Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Lardi. Both of which give regular concerts, as does The Young Musicians' Symphony Orchestra, established by the Council's education department almost 30 years ago.

The club scene is thriving in Haringey, with clubs like Rudolphs in Tottenham, Club N10 in Muswell Hill and Crouch End's Bar Rocca. These clubs offer the discerning punter a trendy mix from drum'n'bass and soul to hip-hop and garage. Club nights are usually advertised locally.
