Galleries

Haringey has a number of art galleries. Alexandra Gallery is in the grounds of the Alexandra Palace Garden Centre.

Also, Wood Green and Hornsey Libraries and Bruce Castle have their own galleries. These libraries host a variety of exhibitions, including the successful annual Haringey Literature Festival, which includes readings, poetry events and workshops.

The Chocolate Factory

Cultural industries are booming in Haringey. The Chocolate Factory is a hub of artists, a collective of creative talent producing a wide range of modern art and design in varying forms. Royal Academy Schools Gallery

Royal Academy Schools Gallery is the Royal Academy's first ever external gallery annex space. The gallery was opened in 2002 at the renovated Victorian Pump House in Hornsey and hosts a range of exhibitions throughout the year.

Bernie Grant Arts Centre

Designed by award winning architect David Adjaye, the Bernie Grant Arts Centre is the latest addition to London’s cultural arts scene. The new purpose built multi-arts centre includes a 300 seat auditorium, 70 seat studio/rehearsal space, café/bar, multimedia workspaces and open spaces.

Lauderdale House

Lauderdale House is a grade II listed 16th Century building situated in the beautiful Waterlow Park on Highgate Hill (nearest tube Archway). The House has four attractive exhibition spaces and hosts a new exhibition each fortnight, showcasing a wide range of professional, student and community artists in a variety of media. It is available to hire and the gallery is open to visitors daily (except Mondays).
