An innovative new space for schools across the borough

Real Centre student

The Tecxitement Room is an exciting new project for Haringey schools – created by our students. It is a flexible learning space located in Heartlands High School featuring the latest, and some of the most innovative ICT. This impressive resource includes a technology library and is available to all secondary schools.

The space is available for students and staff to try out new ideas and for project work. Schools can also try out new equipment and use items ‘in situ’ with the support of staff from RM. Schoolchildren from year 7 and 8 have played a key part in designing the space, and identifying the right ICT and furniture for this ICT rich environment.

The room has stop-go animation equipment, green screen, interactive VerTable and is a great place to get together in an ICT rich project space. RM staff are on hand to assist with getting the most out of the technology and inspiring students on how to integrate the technology into their projects.
