Training

We offer training to foster carers by working in collaboration with the supervising social worker teams. This includes training on

• transitions between key stages
• attendance
• exam preparation support
• value of reading.

Benefits of cultural and leisure activities

It has been shown that children in care who are involved in cultural and leisure activities can have very high positive benefits including improvements in levels of attainment at school. Activities included can be anything from

• sports and arts
• clubs
• additional education learning.
