Haringey Council online payments

Welcome to Haringey Council’s secure online payment service.

When you have read and accepted the terms and conditions below, please press the 'Accept' button at the bottom of this page. A secure payment web page will open in a new window. Here you can use your credit or debit card to pay:

• Council Tax
• Business Rates (Non Domestic Rates)
• Housing Rent
• Haringey Council Invoices (including Leasehold Service Charges)
• Haringey Council Reminders and Final Demands
• Overpayment of Housing Benefit
• Commercial Rent

Other services are scheduled for the future.

Alternatively, you can make regular automatic Direct Debit payments by printing, completing and returning forms for: Housing Rent (PDF, 56KB), or Council Tax and Business Rates (PDF, 418KB).

Planning applications and Building Control applications can also be submitted with a payment. Details can be found under the Planning and Building Control sections. Please note that the £7,500.00 limit applies to this service too.

Terms and conditions

There are a few conditions to using this facility and you should only click on the "Accept" button if you accept these:

1. Your payment will take a minimum of 24 hours to be credited to your account. This includes time to verify your card details with your card supplier and for payment to be notified to the Council.
2. We cannot accept liability for a payment not reaching the intended account due to a customer quoting an incorrect reference number.
3. We cannot accept liability if payment is refused or declined by the card supplier.
4. If the card supplier declines payment, the Council is under no obligation to bring this fact to the customer's attention. Customers should check with their card supplier to ensure that payment has been deducted from their relevant account.
5. Please note that we can only accept single payments up to £7,500.00 online. Above this amount you will need to contact our Call Centre.
6. Due to end of day processing, this service will not be available between 22.00 and 23.00 pm every evening.
7. Users should note that any payments in process after the 22:00 deadline need to be completed by 22:05pm.
8. Payments can also be made using either ATP (0845 0701414), Call Centres (see link above) or in person at the Haringey Payments Service, should the Web Service be unavailable.
