How to Register for Council Tax

If you have recently moved into the borough you will need to register for council tax. You can do this by completing an online form, downloading and completing a registration form or contacting the council tax office.

You can register for council tax online here. The form should take approximately 5 minutes to complete when following the online instructions.

Contacting the Council Tax Office

In order for the Council Tax Office to register your details quickly and accurately, please ensure you provide the following details:

• The property address
• Your name and the names of anyone over 18 living in the property
• The date you rented / purchased the property
• The date you moved into the property
