What happens if your circumstances change

Community care charges in a residential or nursing home

If your circumstances change, for example, if you move to another residential home, you or the person looking after your financial affairs should inform us immediately of any changes which may affect your contribution. A list of some of the things you should tell us about will be included on your statement of charges.

If you move to another residential home we may ask for a new financial assessment form to be completed. We will also help you or the person looking after your financial affairs to claim all the welfare benefits you may be entitled to.
