Eligibility criteria for adults and older people

Am I eligible for help from Adult Services?

You are entitled to receive a community care service if:

  • You are a resident of Haringey
  • You are over the age of 18
  • You have one or more of the following:
    • a learning disability
    • an addiction to drugs or other chemical substances, including alcohol
    • a life-limited illness or you are HIV positive (or both)
    • a mental health problem
    • a physical disability or a sensory impairment
    • a physical or mental frailty.
  • Your needs are assessed as eligible within either the critical or substantial bands of the Fair Access to Care Services eligibility criteria.
