HARTS (Haringey Tenancy Support for Families)

  • Do you live in Haringey?
  • Are you responsible for a child?
  • Would you like support?
  • Do you need advice?
  • Do you need help to make yourself heard?
  • Are you receiving eviction warnings or facing eviction?
  • Are you confused by the system?
  • Or are you having difficulty coping?

HARTS is a free service which can help you:

  • in a crisis
  • settle into your new home
  • with benefits claims, such as housing benefit or family tax credit
  • develop social contacts and activities
  • access training and employment opportunities.

HARTS can advise and support you with:

  • immigration issues
  • schooling issues and accessing childcare
  • family difficulties
  • your rights as a tenant
  • debt problems
  • making use of other community support services.

We can provide emotional support if you or your family are experiencing:

  • mental health difficulties
  • domestic violence
  • harassment
  • difficulties with children's behaviour
  • drug or alcohol issues
  • bereavement
  • relationship breakdown
  • health problems.

We can also provide interpreting services.
