Drugs Advisory Service (DASH)

DASH offers a free and confidential service, providing a range of accessible services to drug users, their families, partners and friends in the London Borough of Haringey.

The team at DASH is made up of people with different experience and skills. It includes trained medical, nursing and counselling staff. In addition, we are supported in this work by a skilled administrative team. We aim to provide a friendly, welcoming and professional service to all sections of the community.

The DASH drop-in/Crack service offers:

  • advice, information and counselling
  • needle exchange
  • complementary therapies
  • welfare benefits advice
  • legal advice
  • health care
  • services for crack cocaine users
  • services for cannabis users.

Just turn up - you do not need to be referred.

Opening hours

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
Late drop-in: Wednesday 4pm – 7.30pm
Women’s drop-in: Thursday 1pm – 3pm
Weekend drop-in: Saturday 10.30am – 3.45pm

Other services provided by DASH

  • access to residential and day care programmes.
  • access to counselling.
  • access to COSMIC, children and family services.
  • shared care scheme (substance misuse). If your use of drugs is low and/or stable, your needs may be better met by your own GP or a specialist GP in our shared care scheme. Contact the shared care coordinator on 020 8442 6498 for more information.

DASH prescribing service

If you want to be considered for the prescribing programme, you should first come to the Drop-In. We offer a range of prescribing programmes from methadone through to Iofexidine. These are available for people dependent on drugs such as heroin.
