Support for Carers

Carers are adults and children who take care of adults or of disabled children. They are unpaid. The caring role is stressful, often 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and can be very isolating.

Carers provide care to people who are ill, frail or living with a disability and who cannot manage without them. Carers look after partners, spouses, family members, friends or neighbours.
