Home care

We support Haringey residents over the age of 50 by providing both short-term intensive and long-term continuing domiciliary care.

Our aims are to:

  • enable people to remain living at home
  • avoid hospital admission or residential or nursing care
  • help people return home quickly after a period in hospital.

Our award-winning Night Service provides 24 hour personal care and monitoring. The Prevention and Enabling Team provides short-term intensive rehabilitation and support so that older people can regain skills to remain independent.

Who can receive home care?
Anyone who needs extra help, in crisis at home, or at the point of hospital discharge, will receive an assessment in line with Fair Access to Care guidelines.
