Meals on wheels

We deliver a daily meal to people in their own homes seven days a week, all year round, between 12noon and 2pm.

• There is a charge of £3.40 per meal

You can select which meals you would like from a list of over 40 choices. We have recently expanded the selection of dishes available, and cater for a wide range of cultural groups, including Asian, African-Caribbean, Cypriot and Kosher.

We will try to meet all dietary and specific medical needs diets and will discuss these on an individual basis with you.

A recent survey found that 90% of people said they were satisfied with the variety, quality and taste of the meals offered while 99% found the delivery staff helpful and polite.

Who can receive meals on wheels?

Anyone who lives in Haringey can apply for meals on wheels. A Social Services care manager will carry out an assessment and, if the eligibility criteria are met, you can receive a subsidised two course meal costing £3.40.
