Smoking Cessation
Smokefree Enfield and Haringey is the local free NHS Stop Smoking Service. We provide advice and support to those who live, work or study in Haringey and would like to give up smoking. In your first year of being a non-smoker you could save over £2,000 and have fitter and healthier lungs among many other health benefits.
We have a range of clinics available based in various locations across the borough and at different times throughout the day. During your quit attempt, you will see a Specialist Stop Smoking Advisor once a week, for around 20 minutes each time. This lasts for 6 weeks in total and during this time you will become smoke free! Nicotine replacement therapy for your quit attempt is provided free of charge if you are exempt from prescription payments; otherwise a one off charge of £7.65 is needed.
Your chances of quitting with our stop smoking service and then staying smoke free could never be better; with our quit rates you are more than five times more likely to quit using our service than if you quit alone.
