Healthwatch Haringey
About Healthwatch Haringey
Healthwatch Haringey is independent from the health and social care services you use. Their job is to ensure that local people's views are heard in order to improve the experience and outcomes for people who use these services.
Healthwatch Haringey works on behalf of all our communities: for children, young people and adults.
You can tell Healthwatch what you think about Haringey’s health and social care services. Healthwatch can also give you information about these services.

Background
Healthwatch organisations have been set up by every local council as part of the changes to health services that started on 1 April 2013.
The Healthwatch Haringey design is based on community and stakeholder views of what people said Healthwatch in Haringey should look like. People wanted to see Haringey’s Healthwatch run by a local organisation. They also told us that Healthwatch must be inclusive and act as a champion for a range of different groups.
Healthwatch Haringey will be run and led by Haringey Citizen’s Advice Bureau (HCAB) with support from Haringey Race and Equality Council (HREC). HCAB provides an independent and impartial advice service and HREC has practical grassroots experience of local equality and diversity work.
