Dear resident,
I hope that all of you enjoyed a good Christmas and New Year.
For 2007, we are encouraging residents to make as much use as possible of our website, so our latest online features are focusing on the many services that are available online.
There’s a taster of what you can do through the website on the do it online page. Planning ahead outlines our online planning facilities. You can also find out about paying your council tax or business rates online.
Using the website for your routine business with the council and to find out information really is a win-win activity.
For residents and other service users it means that you are not restricted by opening hours, having to get along to the council offices and so on. Queuing up to pay a council bill is a thing of the past.
For the council as a whole, it means less time spent on routine transactions, counting cash or filling in forms. And that means savings to keep your council tax down and directing more of our resources to vital front line services. So save time. Do it online!

Leader, Haringey Council
