Summer Uni timetable unveiled

The most extensive range of summer courses and activities for young people has been organised by Haringey Council.
Summer Uni runs from July 20 to August 29 and covers:
- Music / media / performing arts
- Sports
- Specialist projects such as fashion and street dance
- Other activities such as hairdressing, catering and henna tattooing
Summer Uni Haringey targets 13 - 19 year olds or people up to 25 if they are disabled.
Events will be held across the borough, including youth centres, schools and leisure centres.
Cllr Lorna Reith, cabinet member for children and young people, said:
“This is the third year we have run Summer Uni and this year there are more than 200 events
“This year we hope to organise more events than any other London borough.”
Places are limited – in previous years there have been 3,000 requests for 2,000 places.
