Summer on the Green

Come and join the fun at a month long Summer on the Green festival, starting this Saturday 23 June on Tottenham Green.

Summer on the Green will run every day until 22 July, transforming Tottenham Green into a set of fun and pleasant green spaces where people can meet up, relax, be inspired, join in, have fun, learn and play. Highlights include stalls, a café, an events area and performance space, gardening zone, workspaces, sustainability workshops and much more.

The programme of activities planned for Summer on the Green will include seed swapping events, tai chi classes, dancing, community theatre and cinema, barbecues, farmers and craft market type activities, harvest party and local education courses such as healthy eating and architecture.

The festival marks delivery of another of Haringey Council’s 12 in 12 pledges to deliver regeneration and activity to Tottenham throughout 2012.
