Author event: A Muslim Boy meets the West

Author Imran Ahmad will be talking about his acclaimed memoir "Unimagined: A Muslim Boy meets the West" and signing copies at Wood Green library on 13 September.

Ahmad came to London from Pakistan in the 1960's aged one. Selected as Sue Townsend's book of the year, who describes it as "beautifully written, funny and endearing", and as the Guardian's paperback of the week in april this year, Unimagined is the story of his life.

The event is at 3pm on 13 September, at Wood Green Central Library, High Road N22 6DX.

The event is organised by Haringey libraries, for Haringey Peace Week and the National Year of Reading.
