Employment

The most common way to measure unemployment figures is to use the claimant count rates.  The Greater London Authority (GLA) publish these figures monthly at both borough and ward level.

Haringey

  • In November 2005, 8,365 (7.9%) of Haringey residents were registered unemployed
  • During the period January 2005 and November 2005 unemployment across the borough rose from 6.9% to 7.9%.
