This domain looks at the population for high rates of premature death, or whose quality of life is impaired by poor health or who are disabled.

Key Points

• The Health deprivation and disability measure of deprivation is not a major feature in Haringey - only two Super Output Areas (SOAs) are amongst the 10% most deprived in the country
• Just looking at levels of deprivation within Haringey, there is no clear east-west spilt. However, there are pockets of (relatively) extreme deprivation in Noel Park, Northumberland Park and Tottenham Green
• Only 4% of London SOAs are amongst the 10% most deprived in the country
• Pockets of deprivation are evident from Westminster through to Newham.
