Are there differences between the Generic and Professional streams?

The generic stream is aimed at those wanting a career in management, while the professional stream focuses on developing your career in an advertised profession. Since a number of alternative career routes are offered, differences in the development programmes and salaries exist, but as you progress in your career, these differences will reduce, regardless of your selected career path.
