Salary
Although defined as an outer London borough, we pay our teachers on the inner London pay scale. Newly qualified teachers earn a minimum of £25,000 possibly more depending on experience and schools’ policies. Some of our schools also pay NQTs from July prior to a September start.
Salary scale for qualified teachers in inner London (other than leadership group members and ASTs) from 1 September 2008.

Accommodation and travel
We provide accommodation information and have links with several housing associations, in particular MyChoice Homebuy that can provide teachers with equity loans, shared ownership and intermediate renting opportunities. Interest free season ticket loans for traveling to work are also available as part of our loan scheme

The active card provides reduced membership fees for Haringey employees to leisure facilities. Staff can also benefit from the direct debit option and reduce the membership rate even further.

Occupational health offer free checks including blood pressure and cholesterol for staff, additional services/workshops are also available to all Haringey employees.
