What's involved?

The SIA four day course is run at the NRC on a regularly and once you successfully complete the course, you will have achieved Level 2 qualifications covering a range of modules including Communication Skills, Equality and Diversity, Behaviour Standards, Conflict Resolution, Health and Safety, First Aid at Work, and Customer Service.

After training has been completed, your tests will be externally moderated and if your pass is confirmed, you will receive your certificate within 4-5 weeks. Once you have your certificate, you will then be supported through your application for their SIA licence – the final stage in the SIA process.

You will also receive tailored information, advice and guidance support to improve your employability skills, and additional support with finding a job – whether in the security industry, or another sector.
