New projects have been added to the Haringey Guarantee and further information about these projects will be added to this section soon.
Haringey Guarantee advisors work with you to help understand and address your individual employment needs, overcome barriers in your job seach, and arrange guaranteed job interviews with employers when you feel ready.
You can access the Haringey Guarantee through a range of local organisations.
When you do, you will be offered:
- an opportunity to talk about your skills and experience, and what kind of work you want
- support matching your interests and experience to occupations and possible employers
- help compiling your CV
- tips and support with your job search
- help completing job application forms
- training and help with your interview preparation
- benefits advice
- help in finding affordable quality childcare
The Haringey Guarantee also has specialist services which you can access through any Haringey Guarantee advisor:
- If you are a family seeking employment support we can help you through Families into Work.
- If you're looking for a career in the security industry, we can offer you training through Security Industry Authority Employment Support.
- If you want to improve your range of work experience and build up your CV we can offer coordinated voluntary work and volunteering placements with local organisations, we can help you through Work Placements for Employment.
- If you are living with a health problem or disability that has affected your ability to work, we can offer you support through Working for Health.
- if you have a disability or health problem, we can offer you further employment support through Workstep.
We also have the Tackling Worklessness at Northumberland Park School project which provides work experience and work based learning opportunities for Key Stage 4 pupils who are at risk of not being in education, employment or training on leaving school.
