Rebuilding Tottenham - Looking to the Future

We know you want Tottenham to be a place where people are proud to live, work, invest, and stay throughout their lifetimes – and so do we. However, transforming Tottenham is an enormous challenge and one that can only be achieved by the Council and its partner organisations working with you to meet the challenges this brings.

The disturbances in August had a major impact on local community and business confidence. We at Haringey Council have done a huge amount since then to help the local community recover.

We have been visiting local businesses to offer them advice and support and we have introduced business rate relief for all affected businesses – more information on support available to businesses and traders is available here.

Working with local businesses we also have launched the I Love Tottenham campaign to restore pride and confidence in the High Road. A programme of activities is also planned in the run up to Christmas to ensure a successful Christmas for our traders.
