Local Development Scheme (LDS)

Local Development Scheme (LDS)

Under the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004, all local authorities have to produce a Local Development Scheme (LDS). The LDS sets out the timetable for the preparation and development of local development documents over a three year period.

The LDS is reviewed annually as part of the Annual Monitoring Report and submitted to the Greater London Authority. The LDS has been revised and now covers a three year period up to March 2013. It was agreed at the Council's Cabinet on 14 September 2010 and came into effect on 17 November 2010.
