Local Development Scheme (LDS)

The Local Development Scheme is the first document in the LDF that the Council has produced. It sets out the timetable for the preparation of documents that the Council will prepare over a three year period.

Haringey’s first LDS was submitted to the Government Office for London (GOL) in March 2005. The second LDS was reviewed and submitted to GOL in May 2007. The next review of the LDS will be submitted to Greater London Authority (GLA) and GOL in November 2009. This will cover a three year period from 2009 to 2012, and will reflect changes in Planning Policy Statement 12 (PPS 12). Progress to date on the LDS is also available below.

The LDS will continue to be reviewed annually, and amended to reflect Council progress, and to also respond to emerging strategic priorities and the results of consultative processes.

The revised Local Development Scheme will be available to download when completed in December 2009.
