Local Development Scheme (LDS)

The Local Development Scheme is the first document in the LDF that the Council has produced. It sets out the timetable for the preparation of documents that the Council will prepare over a three year period.

Haringey's first LDS was submitted to the Government Office for London (GOL) in March 2005. The LDS is reviewed annually and submitted to GOL. The LDS has been revised and now covers a three year period up to April 2010. The LDS came into effect on 24 May 2007.

The LDS will continue to be annually reviewed, and amended to reflect Council progress, and to also respond to emerging strategic priorities and the results of consultative processes.
