We are currently reviewing our existing grants policy, and no grants are available from the Council during the review process. However, there is assistance available to all residents with heating and insulating their homes.

Haringey residents in receipt of means tested benefits may be eligible for either or both of the following schemes, but are advised in the first instance to apply to the 'here to HELP' scheme to get their properties insulated.
Those not in receipt of means tested benefits are entitled to discounted insulation through the 'here to HELP' scheme.
1. Here to Help
- This scheme is run nationally by British Gas, with Haringey Council having negotiated a contract whereby residents of Haringey are included up to 31 March 2008.
- The scheme functions to install insulation measures and also provides help and information through the charity partners involved.
- Haringey residents are able to apply directly to the contractor who carries out the work - Baring Insulation

2. Warm Front
- This is a National scheme funded by Central Government to assist those deemed to be vulnerable with heating and insulating their properties.
- Haringey residents are able to apply directly to the Warm Front Team for assistance.

How to Apply
To apply for the 'here to HELP' scheme please contact the contractor, Baring Insulation, on 0800 833 826.
To apply for a Warm Front Grant please contact the Warm Front team on 0800 316 2805.
