Welcome to the new season of Smarter Travel Roadshow Events:

| Saturday 18 May 2013 | New and Improved West Green Downhills Park entrance, West Green Road, N15 | Find out more about walking, cycling activities in the borough, plus public transport and learn some greener driving tips after trying our driving simulator. | Sunday 16 June 2013 | Festival of Cycling Finsbury Park, N4 | Fantastic free event taking place in Finsbury Park. Haringey are jointly working on this with Hackney and Islington councils. You can find out more in the Festival of Cycling leaflet (PDF, 1.2MB)
Free Dr Bike maintenance available along with the chance to sign-up for cycle training, and take part in a led cycle ride (from 11am to 11.50am) plus much more! | 12noon to 6pm |
| Sunday 21st July 2013 | Alexandra Palace 150th Anniversary (external link) at the palace | Come along and find the Smarter Travel Roadshow trailer and enjoy making a smoothie on our Blenda venda bike and check you driving skills on our Sustainable Driver Simulator. Please bring along your bike, for a quick check over from Dr Bike. | 11am 4pm |
| Saturday 27th | Lordship Recreation Ground, Lordship Lane | Fantastic celebration of 75th anniversary of the Model Traffic Area in the park, recently renewed. Our Smarter Travel Trailer will be there with lots of local information and travel advice. You can blend a smoothie on our Blenda venda bike and check you driving skills on our Sustainable Driver Simulator. | 11am - 5pm |

We collected surveys from the many people who attended the six events at Crouch End and Harringay Green Lanes over summer 2012.

We would really like to find out how you usually travel in Haringey, why you use this form of transport, what would encourage you to use other types of transport and what you think of transport in Haringey.

Free bike health checks and maintenance sessions are booked for Finsbury Park, Priory Park and Downhills Park and to support Bike Week 15 - 23 June (PDF, 296KB) we have organised Dr Bike sessions at 5 tube stations
The 2013 programme for the Dr Bike sessions will run from May to September, more information available on our cycling page..
In addition, we have organised for Dr Bike sessions to be present at many of our roadshows advertised in our events timetable above.

Haringey residents can learn to cycle safely and confidently in fun group sessions at a subsidised cost of £10 per person.
Cycle training is provided for children through their school.
