The Older Person's Freedom Pass

The current Older Persons’ Freedom Pass is due to expire on the 31 March 2010. New applicants and those who reapply will be issued with a new national pass that will be valid for five years. This pass provides free travel worth up to £10,000. There is no time restriction on when the Older Persons’ Freedom Pass can be used in London. However, outside of London pass holders are restricted to free travel between 9.30am and 11pm Monday to Friday and all day at weekends and on public holidays. Those reapplying can do so from 5 January 2010.
