The average fine for littering is around £95, but can be up to £2,500

Emptying bins

There are currently more than 800 litter bins in Haringey, and this number is increasing all the time. Bins on main roads are emptied up to three times a day. Bins in residential areas are emptied 2 - 3 times a week.
