Reuse and Recycling Centres

Reuse and Recycling CentreHaringey's two Reuse and Recycling Centres are open to the public as a free service.

Staff are on hand to help residents separate their waste into items for recycling or reuse.

Using the Centres

Residents

The centres are for resident use only. Residents using a van must show their council tax statement or utilities bill as proof of residency in Haringey.

Businesses

Businesses are not permitted to use the Reuse and Recycling Centres. Traders have a Duty of Care under Section 34 of the Environmental Protection Act, 1990, to dispose of their waste and recycling in a legal and proper manner. Businesses should contact the Environment Agency for further information.

Charities, community centres and places of worship

These groups can register to bring recyclable materials to the centres. No rubbish will be accepted. Please ring 020 8489 3260 or email recycling@haringey.gov.uk for further details.

Satisfaction survey

In February 2007, users of the centres were asked how they felt about the facilities provided. For more information see the survey results page.
