Recycling Banks and Newspaper Bins

Recycling Banks

There are a number of recycling banks sited on the streets of Haringey and in other convenient locations such as supermarket car parks and housing estates.

Residents can recycle the following materials at the recycling banks:

  • Paper (no directories, catalogues or cardboard)
  • Glass bottles and jars (rinsed, with lids removed)
  • Food tins and drinks cans (rinsed)

What to do if the recycling bins are full

We aim to empty all recycling bins on a regular basis to prevent them from overflowing. However, if you do find that your local recycling bins are full, that rubbish has been dumped on the site or they have been vandalised please call us on 020 8885 7700. You can also do this via our website using the report a problem eform.
