Green Box Collections

Most properties in Haringey are able to have a weekly green box recycling collection.

For information on what you can recycle and your collection day please use the Recycling Search Facility.

• If the search facility says your road has a collection of plastic bottles and cardboard see the mixed recycling service page.
• If collections of these materials have not yet been introduced to your road see the sorted recycling service page.

If you live in a block of flats, in a flat above a shop or in a house without a front garden, you may not be able to receive a green box recycling collection. How to use your green box

Please leave your green box by the front gate (but not on the pavement) so that the collection crews can easily see your recycling.

Many collections are made early in the morning, so please put your green box out the night before your scheduled collection day.

Ordering new green boxes

If you have lots of recycling you can order additional green boxes free of charge.

Green boxes can be ordered using the Report A Problem page.  You can also order boxes through the Haringey Accord Call Centre:

Missed collections

Sometimes recycling collections are missed.  We do our best to keep this to an absolute minimum, but if your recycling has not been collected then we sincerely apologise.

If you report your collection as missed then we will arrange for your recycling to be collected on the next working day.
