Drinks cartons can now be recycled in Haringey through five special collection points.

Where can I recycle cartons?

The Council is working in partnership with Tetra Pak Ltd and ACE UK to trial recycling collections of paper-based liquid food and beverage cartons. The collection points have been set up at the following locations:

Carton recycling bin

  • Reuse & Recycling Centre, 35 High Street, Hornsey N8
  • Reuse & Recycling Centre, Park View Road, Tottenham N17
  • Hornsey Library, Haringey Park, Crouch End N8
  • Wood Green Library (rear entrance, next to Morrison’s car park), off High Road, Wood Green N22
  • Tottenham Town Hall, Town Hall Approach Road, Tottenham N15

Please do not put drinks cartons into your green box or any paper/cardboard recycling container. Drinks cartons are made from a combination of paper, plastic and foil, which can cause problems during the recycling process for other paper and cardboard.
