Local and national charities

A number of charities have shops within Haringey. Good quality unwanted clothing, shoes, toys and household goods can be donated to these shops.  To find out about your local charity shops you can either ring an organisation direct or use the Find a charity shop section on the Association of Charity Shops website (see external links section).

A number of charities also raise money through recycling schemes.  You can support charities by using their schemes to recycle items such as stamps, toner cartridges and mobile phones.  Each charity runs their own scheme, more details can be found on the websites for each charity or by asking in the shops.  Links to some of the websites are in the external links section at the bottom of this page.
