Bank Holiday Collections
The council is working in partnership with Haringey Accord to provide normal refuse and recycling collections on public holidays during 2008. Full information, including details about any closures of our Reuse and Recycling Centres, is given below.
Please note that the arrangements on this page do not cover the Christmas and New Year period in December 2008 and January 2009. Further information about changes to the collection days over this period will be available later in the year.
- May Bank Holiday - Monday 5 May 2008
- Spring Bank Holiday - Monday 26 May 2008
- August Bank Holiday - Monday 25 August 2008
- Reuse and Recycling Centres - Bank Holiday Closures
May Bank Holiday - Monday 5 May 2008
Normal collections of refuse and recycling will take place.
The Reuse and Recycling Centres will be open.

The Reuse and Recycling Centres in Hornsey and Tottenham are open at the following times:
- Monday to Friday - 8.30am to 4.00pm
- Saturdays and Sundays - 9.00am to 4.00pm
The Centres are open throughout the year, except on the following days:
- Christmas Day - 25 December 2008 - CLOSED
- Boxing Day - 26 December 2008 - CLOSED
- New Years Day - 1 January 2009 - CLOSED
