First time voucher applicants:
We are developing our system so that first time applicants can apply for resident visitor permits and this will be available in the near future.
In the meantime, for a standard resident's visitor permit please download and fill in the visitors parking permit application form (PDF, 54KB), However if you are aged 60 years and above or a residents who is registered disabled you can apply for a concessionary resident's visitor permit by downloading and completing the concessionary visitors parking permit application form (PDF, 51KB) and send the form with your proof of address and payment to:
- London Borough of Haringey
PO Box 55235
London N22 9DF.
Please note:
If you are visiting someone who lives in a CPZ area you can ask them to give you one of their visitor parking permits (if they have any). Please take time to read the conditions of use printed on the back of the voucher.
Please ensure that you correctly scratch the panels that are relevant to the date and time you are using the voucher for.
If you are not visiting a particular resident you cannot get a visitor’s parking permit and you should not pay another person to use a resident visitor permit.
However you can buy a pay and display ticket from a pay and display machine and park in a pay and display bay or shared use bay for up to two hours. You must buy a ticket that is valid for the whole of the time you wish to park.
Once you have bought the ticket you cannot put more money in the machine to buy extra time. You must leave the bay when your time is up, otherwise a Penalty Charge Notice may be issued.
We aim to process your application within 5 working days but please allow sufficient time for postage.

When applying for a two week visitor permit you must ensure that you provide details of the make, model and registration number of the vehicle. Without this information we are unable to process your application.
|Back to topWho qualifies for a visitors permit?

To be eligible for a short stay or weekend visitor permit you must be a resident in the Controlled Parking Zone (CPZ) and be aged 18 or over.
|Back to topHow to use your permit
Visitors permits may only be given to those calling at the permit holders address. It is the householders responsibility to ensure that their permit is retrieved from a visitor's vehicle at the end of their stay. All permits must be displayed clearly in the windscreen of the vehicle.
Please note that resident permits are not valid when a suspension is in force for where the vehicle is parked. Parking places are suspended by us and on occasions the Police. Suspension notices are displayed within parking places where existing signage advises what type of bay it is and who may park there.
Each time you park or drive away your vehicle it is recommended that you check for displayed yellow suspension signs. These yellow suspension signs will have clearly displayed information advising of the start and end dates for a Suspension. During the dates detailed on the suspension sign, vehicles may not park within the area specified on the suspension sign and may be issued a Penalty Notice and if necessary removed to our Car Pound.
