Estate Controlled Parking Schemes for residents and their visitors
Less congestion, more parking spaces
Haringey Council responded to the issue of parking congestion on council estates by introducing the estate controlled parking schemes managed by Homes for Haringey. Estates that have the controlled parking schemes are clearly indicated with notice boards at each entrance and exit to the estate.
Other parking restrictions may also apply which are indicated by signs or road markings.
How do you benefit?
You can benefit from the scheme if you satisfy all of the following:
- you are a council estate resident
- you live on an estate that has an estate controlled parking scheme
- you are in possession of a valid resident’s parking permit and valid road tax.
If you satisfy all of the above criteria you can receive parking priority during local enforcement times which are usually between 8am and 6pm Monday to Saturday (parking spaces are not guaranteed).
Visitors' parking permits
Visitors' parking permits can be purchased so that visitors can use parking spaces. All residents living on participating estates are eligible to apply.
