How to park in this CPZ
Residents, businesses and visitors can park in marked parking bays during operational hours by displaying a valid parking permit. For information about how to apply or to view our charges please see the Parking Permits page. Motorists who want to park for a short time can use the pay and display bays.

Inner Zone
Monday to Sunday: 8am to 10pm.
Outer Zone
Monday to Saturday: 8am to 6.30pm.
To enable us to monitor movement between the two zones, parking permits will be issued which will state whether your property is in the inner or outer zone.
At this present time you can use your permit in either zone regardless of the difference in operational hours and days. This is providing you display your valid permit clearly and park your vehicle within the correct type of permitted parking bay, for example residents-only bays or shared use bays (residents and pay and display).
We will, however, be monitoring the levels of inter-commuter parking between the zones to evaluate if residents of the outer zone are placing parking pressures on residents of the inner zone, particularly during the weekends.
If, in the future, it is decided to formally split the inner and outer zones so permit holders can only park in their respective zones, residents will be fully informed prior to any changes coming into effect.

You no longer need to hurry back to your vehicle as you can use Pay by Phone to add more parking time from wherever you are. Information on how to register and pay for parking is on our Pay by Phone page.

Electric vehicles (excluding hybrids) may park free of charge in dedicated pay and display bays but the maximum stay and no return periods will remain applicable. Charges will still apply for electric vehicles parked in any shared pay and display/permit bay.
