If you ignore the signs below you could face a £120 fine

Haringey Council is responsible for enforcing 21 road signs that are set out in the Highway Code.

Below are examples of the most common signs. Please see the attached files section below for more information.

You must not enter a yellow box junction unless your exit is clear or you wish to turn right, but are prevented from doing so by oncoming traffic, or other vehicles wishing to turn right.

Directional Signs

Left turn

Vehicular traffic must turn left ahead in the direction that the arrow indicates
 

One way

One way traffic only

Vehicle Prohibitions

No entry

No entry to vehicular traffic
 

No motor vehicles

Motor vehicles prohibited
