Haringey Green Fair
Following four fantastic years the Haringey Green Fair will not be taking place in 2011. From the 1000 people who braved the rain in 2007 at Alexandra Palace Park, the Green Fair continued to grow and last year over 10,000 people turned out in Ducketts Common to participate in an event designed to raise awareness of green issues and promote the opportunities for greener living.
Haringey Council would like to thank everyone who attended the fair, sponsors who supported the event and we would like to pay special thanks to those that played a significant role in organising the event:
- Sustainable Haringey
- Friends of Ducketts Common
- Haringey Federation of Residents Association
- Community Volunteers
along with a range of dedicated residents who took time out to contribute to a fantastic event.
Haringey supported the London Green Fair (external link) in 2011, which took place in Regents Park on the 4 and 5 June. This free festival reflected the green aspirations and achievements of London as a whole, as well as providing an enjoyable and engaging day out for people from all walks of life.
