The Green Home Makeover

Households in the Low Carbon Zone can now benefit from a range of subsidised energy and water saving devices. All you have to do is sign up for a free home energy assessment, delivered by our partners Creative Environmental Networks (CEN).

CEN staff will visit your home, recommend free smaller measures that can be installed and let you know if your home could benefit from larger measures such as draught proofing, loft insulation or cavity wall insulation. They will then let you know what the costs are for those larger measures, and book in an appointment for you to have them installed if you want to get the work done to your home.

You may have already been visited by the team of community volunteers promoting the scheme, but if not please call CEN on 0800 358 6663, or alternatively email the Low Carbon Zone team at the Council on lowcarbonzone@haringey.gov.uk

Please note that this offer is only available to homes inside the Low Carbon Zone, and you will be asked by CEN to confirm your address. The offers are also subject to change if stock runs out, so act now to avoid disappointment.
