Street Drinking

Creating new and extending existing Street Drinking Prohibited Zones.

Haringey Council has recently consulted about the creation of new zones, and extension of existing zones, where the police will have additional powers to prevent street drinking. The areas affected are listed below.

• Bounds Green ward
• Bruce Grove ward
• Harringay ward
• Noel Park ward
• Northumberland Park ward
• Seven Sisters ward
• St. Ann’s ward
• Tottenham Green ward
• Tottenham Hale ward
• West Green ward
• Woodside ward

A public notice has been advertised in the Hornsey Journal. All roads affected (including maps) can be found in the attached files section below. You have had the opportunity to discuss your views at Area Assemblies across the borough during the consultation period, or by contacting Robert Curtis on telephone number 020 8489 5283.

What happens next

Your views on this proposal have been noted and will be considered by the Council’s General Purposes Committee before a decision is taken.
