Recycling

Recycling preserves raw materials, prevents waste from being unnecessarily buried in landfill or burnt in an incinerator, and is can also save energy and water.

Haringey Council provides a wide range of recycling services so that residents can play their part in preserving the environment.

For more information please visit the recycling pages.

Transport and travel

The way that we get around the borough has a big impact on the environment. More cars means more pollution, more carbon dioxide emissions, and more congestion. However, we can all make a difference by using public transport instead, or cycling or walking.

For more information:

  • See our travel page, which includes details on cycling and walking routes
