Complaints about Freedom of Information (FoI) requests

If you are unhappy with our answer to your FoI request, or how we dealt with it, you can complain to us about it. The Council's Feedback and Information Governance Team will then conduct an internal review.

If, after this, you are still not happy with the council's response, you may ask the Information Commissioner (external link) to decide. The Information Commissioner will not usually take up your case until the Council has answered your complaint or appeal.
